Kenny Rogers’ musical legacy lives on.
And now, his twin sons are all grown up.
The little boys who once stood beside their legendary dad are now 22 — and fans seeing the latest photos of them are all noticing the same thing…
Just teenagers when their dad died
It’s hard to believe it has already been more than six years since we lost Kenny Rogers.
For so many of us, Kenny wasn’t just another country singer. He was one of those rare artists whose voice seemed to always be there — on the radio, on our TVs, playing in the background during family road trips and becoming part of the soundtrack to our lives.
From “The Gambler” to “Lady,” Kenny Rogers created songs that never really went away. His unmistakable voice, his warm smile and that larger-than-life career made him a true legend, but somehow he always seemed incredibly down to earth too.
When Kenny died on March 20, 2020, at the age of 81, fans around the world said goodbye to an artist who had meant so much to so many. But behind the country music legend was another side of Kenny that perhaps meant even more to him — being a father.
And his youngest children, twin sons Justin and Jordan, were still just teenagers when they suddenly had to learn what life would be like without their dad.
Joked about the challenge
Justin and Jordan Rogers were born on July 6, 2004, to Kenny and his fifth wife, Wanda Miller. By then, Kenny was already 65 years old and had spent decades building one of country music’s most successful careers.
But becoming a father to twins at that stage of his life brought a completely different kind of adventure.
Kenny once joked about the challenge of keeping up with two energetic little boys at his age.
“They say that twins at my age will either make you or break you. Right now I’m leaning towards break. I would kill for the energy they’ve got,” he told People.
Still, the boys quickly became a huge part of his world.
After years of touring, recording and living life in the spotlight, Kenny eventually began preparing to step away from performing. His career had given him almost everything he could have dreamed of, but there was something else he wanted more of — time with his family.
Often seen with their father
Justin and Jordan were often seen with their father in family photos, including appearances at major events. To the outside world, they were the twin sons of a country music legend. At home, though, Kenny was simply their dad.
And some of their favorite memories had nothing to do with fame.
The boys had a tradition with their father called “Super Saturdays.” Their weekly outings were wonderfully ordinary: breakfast at McDonald’s, a stop at the car wash and a visit to Chuck E. Cheese.

Those simple moments would eventually become some of the memories they treasured most.
In March 2020, Kenny died at his home in Sandy Springs, Georgia, at the age of 81. Justin and Jordan were only 15 years old.
Losing their father at such a young age left them with memories that became even more precious as they grew older.
In 2023, the brothers opened up about their dad and the lessons he left behind.
Jordan was bullied
Jordan remembered being bullied when he was younger and coming home in tears. Kenny didn’t tell him to become someone else or try to change who he was. Instead, he encouraged his son to stay true to himself.
“Just keep being yourself. You’re very funny.”
Those words stuck with Jordan long after his father was gone.
“Every day I still live up to that,” he said.
And then there was the tradition that became especially emotional after Kenny’s death.
The brothers continued visiting the same Chuck E. Cheese they had gone to with their dad. They even returned to the exact table where they used to sit together.
“I remember all the fun memories we used to have at Chuck E. Cheese,” Jordan said. “We still go to that location and we sit at the exact same table that we used to.”
For Justin, the memories were just as powerful.
”I miss everything about him. He was a really fun dad.”
Kenny Rogers’ twin sons reached a major milestone in 2023 when Justin and Jordan graduated from high school.
The singer’s team shared a photo of the brothers in matching purple caps and gowns, celebrating the young men they had become.
“Kenny always said ‘Friendships come and go, but families are forever.’ Indeed,” the caption read.
“Kenny & Wanda’s twin sons, Justin and Jordan, graduated from high school this past Friday. Please join us in congratulating them on this landmark achievement!” the message continued. “Way to go, guys! Have fun and enjoy the ride…and may all your dreams in life come true!”
‘That was your dad’s look’
Since Kenny’s passing, Wanda has continued to share some of the biggest moments in her sons’ lives — and she has also opened up about the ways she sees their father in them.
Speaking to People, she said she sees “so much” of Kenny in both boys.
“I always tell them, ‘That was your dad’s look.’ The older they get, the more they want to know about him. I hear them tell people, ‘My dad used to stand like that.’ It’s so sweet.”
Then came another milestone.
On July 6, 2026, Justin and Jordan turned 22, and Wanda marked the occasion with a heartfelt birthday message alongside a photo of herself with her sons.
“Please join me in wishing Justin & Jordan a HAPPY BIRTHDAY today!” Wanda wrote. “I’m so proud of our boys and grateful they are our sons, and I know Kenny felt the same way!”
She also couldn’t help but imagine how Kenny would have celebrated the occasion if he were still here.
“There is no doubt Kenny would be celebrating big if he were here…he is probably having ice cream in heaven in celebration of them today! … Justin & Jordan: I love you and hope you have the happiest birthday yet!”
The birthday post quickly brought fans into the moment, with many struggling to believe how quickly Kenny’s little boys had grown up.
“Happy Birthday Jordan and Justin…What 22? How did you two grow up so fast ???” one fan wrote.
Another remembered seeing the family years ago and commented, “SENDING BIRTHDAY WISHES TO YOU BOTH!!! WOW YOU TWO HAVE GROWN UP FAST SINCE I SEEN YOU TWO AND YOUR DAD AND MOM AT SEA WORLD IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA!!!”

“Happy birthday Justin and Jordan!!!! Gosh where has the time gone with these two? 22 already!!” another fan added.
And that reaction is easy to understand.
For fans who remember Justin and Jordan as the little boys who appeared alongside their famous father, seeing them at 22 is a striking reminder of just how much time has passed.
Kenny may have been gone for more than six years now, but through his sons, little pieces of him are still there — in their looks, their mannerisms, their memories and the stories they continue to share.
The dad who took them to McDonald’s
It’s easy to remember Kenny Rogers as the voice behind all the iconic songs.
But to Justin and Jordan, he was something much simpler.
He was the dad who took them to McDonald’s on Saturdays. The dad who went through the car wash with them. The dad who laughed with them at Chuck E. Cheese. And the dad who reminded his son to keep being himself when the world made him feel like he wasn’t enough.
And seeing them now, all grown up, makes those old family photos feel even more special.
Kenny may no longer be here to watch his youngest sons grow into the men they are today, but the memories he gave them clearly stayed with them.
